Repaved Winnetka Library Lot Designed to Prevent Flooding

The paved and regraded lot is part of a $120,000 project to prevent flooding.

 

The freshly paved and regarded parking lot at Winnetka Public Library is part of a $120,000 project designed to prevent flooding, Chicago Tribune reported.

The project included adding a new sump pump in the library’s crawl space, new drainage, new magazine-reading mezzanine area and a new teen room designed for studying and hanging out, Chicago Tribune reported.
