Teen Caught With Cannabis at New Trier High School, Police Say

Outstanding Warrant

Marc A. Moffett, 48, of Chicago was arrested for an in-state warrant out of Chicago Heights on May 1, Winnetka Police reports state. The arrest was made subsequent to an investigation of a suspicous person. Moffett was taken into custody and was transported to the police department. Custody was transferred to Chicago Heights Police.

Disorderly Conduct

Denise Torres, 27, of Winnetka was cited for disorderly conduct on the 500 block of Chestnut St. on May 1. Her court date is set for May 20.

Cannabis Activity

A male juvenile, 16, from the New Trier Township area was cited for possession of cannabis, Winnetka Police reports state. The cannabis was found at New Trier High School. The juvenile's court date was set for May 20.

Criminal Damage

A victim on the 500 block of Hawthorn Ln. discovered that on April 30, an unknown offender(s) pulled/snapped the cable line and zip ties used to attach the cable to the side of the house, police reports state. The repair cost is estimated to be $10.

Theft

A construction owner reported that between April 30 and May 1, an unknown offender(s) removed six pieces of scrap metal from the premises without authority, police reports state. The amount of loss is $100.

Traffic Arrest

Urbano Perez-Zamora, 35, of Chicago was arrested for driving with a suspended driver's license, Winnetka Police reports state. Perez-Zamora was also cited for no proof of insurance and improper lane usage. The incident occurred on May 2 on the 600 block of Green Bay Rd. The court date is set for June 13.

Cannabis Activity

Karen Kennedy, 53, of Winnetka was cited for possession of cannabis, police reports state. The incident occurred on the 700 block of Sheridan Rd. on May 4. Her court date is set for June 21.

Traffic Arrest

Derek S. Bluemner, 22, of Chicago was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, police reports state. Bluemner was also cited for illegal transportation of alcohol and improper parking on a roadway. The incident occurred on the 600 block of Lincoln Ave. at 2:05 a.m. on May 4. His court date is set for June 13.

Trespass to Property

Paul Hoffman, 72, of Winnetka was cited for Trespass to Property on May 2, police reports state. The incident occurred on the 100 block of Fuller Ln. His court date is set for June 6.
