Police: Burglars Steal Jewelry From Ash St. Home

The following arrest information was provided by the Winnetka Police Department. When an arrest is mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Domestic Battery

A 36-year-old Winnetka man was arrested for domestic battery after police received a 911 call reporting a battery in progress. The incident occurred on June 17.

Tiffany M. Saarinen, 45, of Winnetka is being charged with an outstanding warrant, police reports state. Saarinen was pulled over on the 1100 block of Tower Rd. on June 18 for a traffic violation and she was taken into custody. Her court date is set for July 17. 

Theft

A victim on the 1020 block of Tower Rd. reported that on June 18, an unknown offender(s) removed his cell phone from inside a gas station, police reports state. The phone is described as a black iPhone 5. The amount of loss is reported at $300. 

Residential Burglary

A victim on the 600 block of Ash St. discovered that on June 18, an unknown offender gained entry to the residence by force and removed several pieces of jewelry from the master bedroom, police reports state. The amount of loss is unknown at this time. 

Garage Burglary

A victim on the 1000 block of Ash St. discovered that between June 17 and June 18, an unknown offender(s) removed a men's white, black and red Giant Boulder bicycle from an unsecured unattached garage, police reports state. The amount of loss is reported at $300.  

Traffic Arrest

Clifford Glaze, 55, of Evanston is being charged with driving with a suspended driver's license, police reports state. The arrest was made subsequent to a traffic stop on the 10 block of Green Bay Rd on June 21. His court date is set for July 17. 

Identity Theft

A victim on the 800 block of Sheridan Rd. reported that between May 8 and June 22, an unknown offender(s) opened a Pay Pal account using the victim's identity. The amount of loss is reported at $379.
