Sheldon Leonard Leibowitz, 88, was the beloved husband of the late Pearl R. Leibowitz, the loving father of Lew (Laurie) Leibowitz, Todd Leibowitz and Dale (Amy) Leibowitz and the proud grandfather of Michael, David, Katelyn and Crosby.

Sheldon was also the dear brother of Marvin (Isa) Leibowitz, the late Zora (the late Nat) Reznick and the late Betty (the late Harry) Allswang.

Services were held at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd (at Niles Center Road), Skokie. Interment was at Waldheim. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Hebrew Theological College. 7135 Carpenter Road Skokie, Il  60077 www.htc.edu.
