How Do I Post Something On Patch?

Whether you have a charity ball, garage sale or wedding it's easy to share the information on Patch.

Don't be shy.

If you have something to say, promote or inform the community about Patch is a resource that is available to you. One of my favorite parts of this job is going through information posted on the site and selecting items to feature.

Joe White used Patch to announce that  uses Patch to share upcoming events, such as “Maze Runner” Author James Dashner Presents His New Series.

These are just a couple examples of residents and organizations utilizing Patch. It's fun. It's easy. And it's free.

  • First create an account by hitting "Join" in the upper right corner of the home page.
  • After you have an account, you can easily post an event on the site. "Events" are listed in the center of home page and once you click into the page "Add an Event" is an option on the top right side of the page.
  • If you want to post an announcement about something go to the "News" tab next to the "Home" tab on the homepage. on the right hand side of the home page. "Announcements" is the fourth item on the right column.  Once you click into the page, "Announce it to everyone!" is located on the top right side of the page.

That's it. If you have photos or a logo to go along with your post all the better. And if you have any questions or problems you can always email me: Chi-an.Chang@Patch.com
