Bag Full of Apple Products Stolen from Vehicle

The following arrest information was supplied by the Winnetka Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Identity Theft
A victim on the 200 block of Birch St. reported that between July 2 and July 8, an unknown offender(s) attempted to open two unauthorized credit card accounts using his personal identifying information, police reports state. There's no reported loss at this time.

Burglary to Motor Vehicle
A victim on the 500 block of Sunset Dr. discovered that between July 9 and July 10, an unknown offender(s) entered his vehicle and took a black 'Tumi' computer bag containing an Apple iPad, an Apple iPod and two checkbooks. The amount of loss is reported at $1020.

Traffic Arrest
Alejo Ruiz-Ceballo, 34, of Chicago is being charged for driving without a valid driver's license, as well as citations for speeding and having no proof of insurance. Ruiz-Ceballo was arrested at the intersection of Frontage Rd. and Winnetka Ave. on July 11. His court date is set for August 12.

Traffic Arrest
Kevin Ware, 52, of Hannover Park is being charged with driving with suspended registration, police reports state. His court date is set for August 19.

Traffic Arrest
Marc C. Ricard, 52, of Vernon Hills is being charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, Winnetka Police reports state. He was also cited for speeding. This incident occurred on the 800 block of Green Bay Rd. on July 13. His court date is set for August 19.

Criminal Damage
A victim on the 200 block of Sheridan Rd. reported that on July 13, an unknown offender(s) damaged the passenger side window of his vehicle, police reports state. Nothing appears to be missing. The repair cost is $300.

Theft
A victim on the 200 block of Forest St. reported that on July 14, an unknown offender removed a boy's black bike from the back yard of the residence. The amount of loss is reported at $300.
