$10,000 in Jewelry Stolen from Residence on Oak St.

The following information was provided by the Winnetka Police Department. When an arrest is mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Criminal Damage
A victim on the 400 block of Elder Ln. reported that between June 27 and June 28, an unknown offender broke the front passenger window of their vehicle, rummaged through the vehicle but did not appear to take anything, police reports state. The repair cost is unknown. 

Theft
A victim on the 700 block of Elm St. reported that an unknown offender removed his secured bike from the bike rack between May 19 and May 22, police reports state. The bicycle is described as a 'Kungs' men's silver bike with a rack. The amount of loss is reported at $350. 

Theft
A victim on the 900 block of Oak St. reported that between June 26 and June 27, an unkonwn offender(s) removed multiple rings from the residence, police reports state. The amount of loss is over $10,000. 

Residential Burglary
An victim on the 100 block of Fuller Ln. discovered that between June 28 and June 30, an unknown offender(s) entered the residence and removed loose change and a sterling silver bowl. The amount of loss is reported at $230. 

Theft
A victim on the 100 block of Northwestern Dr. discovered between June 24 and June 29, an unknown offender(s) removed a locked bicycle from the bike rack, police reports state. The bicycle is described as a silver and black 20-inch "Giant Rincon" 24-speed. The amount of loss is reported at $500.
