Rose's Wheat Free Bakery Now Open in Highland Park

The Highland Park outpost of the Evanston gluten-free shop is owned by Marcus Lemonis, the Lake Forest resident who stars in CNBC's The Profit.

Rose’s Wheat Free Bakery and Café is now open on Central Avenue in Highland Park.

The gluten-free eatery opened last week as an outgrowth of the original Evanston location. It’s owned by Lake Forest millionaire Marcus Lemonis, who stars in the CNBC show The Profit.

Lemonis bought Rose’s in Evanston in December 2012. At the time, he was involved in an increasingly bitter legal battle with the owners of Highland Park’s In the Raw vegan restaurant over who had control of the business after Lemonis says he invested more than $100,000 in the restaurant.
