Zengler Cleaners started working with the Glass Slipper Project in 2003.

Zengeler Cleaners collected , a Chicago-based charity that gives prom gowns for free to students who cannot otherwise afford them.

"So many young women now have the special opportunity to enjoy their proms this year, thanks to those who made these generous donations," said Tom Zengeler, .  “The generosity of students donating their own dresses, as well as total strangers who purchased and donated brand new dresses is awe inspiring, and truly amazing.”

Donations are collected year-round at all Zengler locations and are then delivered to a school on Chicago’s South Side which is turned into a makeshift department store for three “shopping days” when girls can browse for dresses, accessories or shoes, Northbrook Star reported.

Zengler Cleaners has locations in Deerfield, Hubbard Woods, Libertyville, Long Grove, Northbrook, Northfield and Winnetka
