New Trier Township New Business Round-Up

One great thing about summer is the sudden influx of fantastic new businesses that seem to be popping up all over the New Trier township. Here's a round-up of Patch's coverage of business openings, businesses about to open their doors and big changes at existing businesses. 

Dewey's Opening in Former Vernon's on Vernon Location: Dewey's - a full-service restaurant - will be taking over the spot formerly occupied by Vernon's on Vernon in downtown Glencoe.

Advanced Dermatology Coming to Downtown Glencoe: Advanced Dermatology, an aesthetic practice with locations all around the North Shore, has begun renovations on a Glencoe location (at 710 Vernon Ave., next to The Style Nails and Spa). The new location is set to open later this summer.

Sparkly Nails Opens in Downtown Winnetka: Sparkly Nails, a nail, waxing and massage salon, has opened its doors in downtown Winnetka.

Wilmette Gastropub Offeres Gluten-Free Options: Wilmette’s new gastropub Nick’s Bar and Grill is offering gluten-free options among a variety of appetizers, tacos, salads, sandwiches, entrees and desserts.

Modern Water Coming to Winnetka: Modern Water, a Reverse-Osmosis and Alkaline water store, is opening soon in Winnetka. 

Ribbon Cutting Held at Romantika Boutique: The Winnetka-Northfield Chamber of Commerce held a new business Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at Romantinka Lingerie in downtown Winnetka on May 30.   

The Big Black Dog is Under New Management: The Big Black Dog Tavern and Grill in Wilmette is under new management, with a new front-of-house manager and a new head chef. 

ARTBody Studio Brings Fitness With a Twist to Wilmette: Angela Renee, the owner of ARTbody in downtown Wilmette, spent years bringing her fun take on fitness to a wide audience as she was featured as an NBC Today Show Fitness Expert and a WGN-TV Fitness contributor. But now she's narrowing that view to provide small, intimate fitness classes to North Shore women with ARTbody Studio in downtown Wilmette.
