Leonidas Café Chocolaterie Moving to Evanston

The Wilmette location of the fine Belgian chocolates shop will be moving to Evanston.

Leonidas Café Chocolaterie, the chocolate shop located in downtown Wilmette, will be moving to Evanston after 8 years in its location at 1157 Wilmette Ave. The store's current location will be closing at the end of May, and the Evanston location is set to open in July.

"We have outgrown this space and are not able to meet all of your requests," a sign on the door of the Wilmette location says. "The new location will have more seating, a pastry kitchen, extended creperie and better opening hours."

The Evanston location will be on the corner of Green Bay Rd. and Central Ave., right next to Maya Papaya and Tony Macarony Children's Boutique.
