Free Slurpee, Anyone?

It's 7-Eleven's 85th birthday and the convenience store is celebrating by giving away free 7.11oz. Slurpee's from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 11.

Slurpee lovers across the U.S. will be thrilled to know the frozen treats will be given away Wednesday, July 11, to celebrate 7-Eleven's 85th birthday.

The icy refreshments will be free from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. at 7-Eleven stores across the country, including those in Winnetka, Wilmette, Glencoe and Northbrook

To join in the festivities, you can download birthday apparel including miniature bowties, hair bows and party hats at Slurpee.com.

Big Summer Sweeps’ game pieces also can be found on products throughout the stores, where prizes such as a VIP trip package to the football championship or a BMW Motorbike F800 can be won through the end of August.

7-Eleven has been giving away Slurpees since 2002, and plan to give away up to 7-million this year in honor of their birthday celebration.
