Winnetka-Northfield Sidewalk Sale

The Winnetka-Northfield Chamber of Commerce Sidewalk Sale will be held in the shopping district of Northfield and in Winnetka’s East Elm, Hubbard Woods and West Elm shopping districts on Friday, July 20 and Saturday, July 21, 9 am to 5 pm.  

Retailers will display a range of goods:  fashion, jewelry, sporting goods, and books.  The Sidewalk Sale will also feature unique specialty merchants.  Shoppers will discover food vendors, charity organizations, and other professional services.

A new feature to the Winnetka-Northfield Sidewalk Sale will be “Let Loose on Lincoln” street festival.  Lincoln Avenue will be blocked off, south of Elm Street to create a festive environment for the event.  The chamber is partnering with the Winnetka Park District; Saturday, July 21 from 2 pm to 8 pm. “Let Loose on Lincoln” will feature multiple area bands playing music, food and a beer and wine garden. Make plans with family and friends to meet on Lincoln Avenue and celebrate Winnetka.

The Kid-entrepreneur” section in Hubbard Woods Park will showcase handcrafted items made by local children, such as: duct tape wallets, jewelry and crafts.  Stop by Hubbard Woods Park and see what the kids have for sale this year.

The Sidewalk Sale has been a tradition in Winnetka for over 40 years and this year promises to be even more exciting with the addition of “Let Loose on Lincoln.”  Spend the weekend, shopping locally, strolling through the village and enjoying great savings on unique merchandise.
