Winemaker Visit

Mastering the Zen of Zin - Not only has Carol mastered the art of Zin but she has taken it to new levels.  Carol Shelton has earned many titles - winemaker of the year (4 separate years), pioneer woman winemaker - but the one that is most fitting is "Queen of Zin."  When Carol and her husband and business partner Mitch Mackenzie launched Carol SHelton Wines they knew that focus would be Zinfandel.  That focus paid off.  Carol's Zins contine to receive high acclaim and she maintains her role as the "Queen of Zin."  The Zinfandel's Carol will be tasting out the evening of the 12th are not only wonderful according to The Winnetka Wine Shop but have received outstanding press from the critics with 90+ points on more than one of the wines she will be discussing.  We hope you will join us Thrusday July 12th from 6pm-8pm to meet this wonderful winemaker and learn more about her wines.  The event is FREE and wines will be available to purchase that evening.
