Beat Street Opens Second Location in Kenilworth

It's been a busy summer for Beat Street owner Julie Windsor. 

After ten years in her location on Green Bay Rd., she moved around the corner to 1081 Gage St. — and opened a second location in Kenilworth at 521 Park Ave. The Gage Street store opened last week, and the Kenilworth location held its grand opening on Sept. 13. 

The Kenilworth location is currently split up into two side-by-side stores. One side — which Windsor refers to as "Upbeat" features higher-end and more grown-up pieces, while the other side has the traditional Beat Street products. Windsor plans to eventually combine the two sides into one large store. 

The Kenilworth location will also feature two party rooms for children's parties.
