AT&T is Best Cell Network in Chicago Area, Report Says
RootMetrics ran a test of the top four networks in the Chicago area.
A group that tests cell networks around the country has ranked AT&T the best network in the Chicago area in its latest report.
RootMetrics, an independent consumer group, says AT&T beats out Verizon, Spring and T-Mobile when it comes to overall performance in and around Chicago, according to its October rankings. AT&T and Verizon were tied when it comes to network reliability, according to the report, but AT&T was the hands-down winner in terms of data speed.
RootMetrics performed 100,000 tests to make its determination.
