On Location: Winnetka Children's Hour

We sit down with Annie Kay Taylor of Winnetka's Children Hour to learn about the new musical comedy, "House Haunters!" this weekend.

Valentine's Day is right around the corner, and what says "I love you" like a comedy about ghosts?

You might consider stopping by the this weekend for "House Haunters!" a musical comedy written and produced by Winnetka Children's Hour.

"House Haunters!" takes place in an English manor, where six ghostly ancestors roam the attic. When several people arrive to buy the mansion, adventure ensues.

Annie Kay Taylor, board president of Winnetka Children's Hour, co-wrote the play along with Gwen Oelerich and Kate Ancell. Oelerich wrote the lyrics for the play, which includes a cast of North Shore children, with ages ranging from first to eighth grades.

The one-hour show opened on Thursday at 7 p.m. and continues on Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Tickets are $8 and can be purchased by calling LeeAnn Rechtin at (312)337-4767 or erechtin@me.com.

This conversation segment is part of a feature we're trying out on Winnetka-Glencoe Patch called On Location. Let us know what you think, or if you know somone else on location we might highlight.
