Networking Extravaganza and Business Expo

The third annual Networking Extravaganza and Business Expo will be held on Wednesday, March 2 at the North Shore Senior Center in Northfield, Il from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.  The event is sponsored by the Pioneer Press and the Chambers of Commerce in Glencoe, Winnetka/Northfield, and Wilmette/Kenilworth.

At this event, you will be greeted personally by business owners and managers who can explain their services, answer your questions and have a discussion with you about your needs.   The Business Expo will feature 45 to 50 vendors primarily from the North Shore.  There will be exhibitors from many different business segments:  financial services, home improvement products and services, computers, fitness, counseling, medical services, in-home healthcare, craft projects, media, legal services and more.  Experts in those fields will be there, ready to talk with you. 

Attendees will have the opportunity talk directly with professionals who will provide information about their businesses.  As Nada Becker, Executive Director of the Wilmette Chamber of Commerce, commented, “With time so precious for everyone today, this is a great way to visit a wide range of local businesses—and it’s fun.” 

Appetizers provided by Catered by Design; wine and soft drinks will also be available.  The $5 admission fee includes a drink ticket; the appetizers are complimentary, and the Pioneer Press will hold a drawing.
