Art Encounter Studio Tour, David Gista

Art Encounter's Joanna Pinksy leads a private tour through David Gista's studio.

Meet an energetic artist and art instructor who recently founded “The Art School” in Glencoe.  In David’s private studio, we’ll investigate his vibrant paintings that express both his lively personality and meditations on place and time.  We’ll find out why he moved from France to Chicago and how his recent exhibit “Stranger in a Strange Land” at Thomas Masters Gallery talks about this midlife move.  We’ll conclude with an exhibit in “Gallery G,” the space David created to show works by other artists.
