Mosquito Control Efforts Moved to Tuesday

Weather forces officials to reschedule plans to control North Shore adult mosquito population.

The stormy and windy weather has forced area officials to move mosquito control efforts.

The North Shore Mosquito Abatement District will conduct its targeted adult mosquito control operations in parts of Glencoe, Winnetka, Kenilworth, Northbrook, Northfield and Wilmette from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Tuesday, July 1. Operations originally were scheduled for Monday, June 30.
