Kerry Woods, a retired pitcher from the Chicago Cubs, recently sold his Winnetka home, valued at $4.2 million, for $4.175 million, a $500K loss, according to Chicago Magazine.
Woods had previously put in a request with Winnetka’s landmarks preservation committee to tear down the home because of a cracked foundation, but Woods later withdrew the request and put the house up for sale "as is," Chicago Magazine reports.
