Last Days of Summer Park-a-Day Challenge

9 a.m.-12 noon and 3-5 p.m. at Shelton Park in Glencoe.

The Winnetka Park District, in partnership with The Alliance for Early Childhood and the Glencoe, Kenilworth, Northfield, and Wilmette Park Districts, invite you to take the “Last Days of  Summer Park-a-Day Challenge” during the week of Monday, August 22nd through Sunday, August 28th.  Each day throughout  the week we will feature a “playday” in a different park or playground in our communities.  Look for the Park-A-Day Challenge sign at each park.  You’ll also find a box of “loose parts” to spark children’s creativity as they play. 

     This will be a wonderful way for families to come together to play, to discover new play spaces, and to promote the importance of children’s unstructured play.  For more information, please visit www.winpark.org or www.theallianceforec.org.
