Ash Wednesday Service

Lent is the period leading up to Holy Week and Easter, a time of reflection, prayer and meditation, and an opportunity to turn toward the new life that Easter represents.  At GUC, with others around the world, we begin this journey together with the ancient practice of marking ourselves with ashes to symbolize our mortality.
