Local Doctor of Audiology Presents on the Link Between Hearing Loss and Dementia

Join Hearing Associates, Inc., and Bright Star for a continuing education program.

Linda S. Remensnyder, Au.D., Doctor of Audiology and Executive Vice President of Hearing Associates, Inc. will be presenting on the “Link Between Hearing Loss and Dementia.“

Researchers at prestigious medical institutions have recently discovered a correlation between hearing loss and dementia in individuals over 65. In addition, hearing loss and dementia can often masquerade as one another. Caretakers need to be aware of this new relationship and will be provided screening tools to differentiate the two. Management strategies under investigation will also be shared.
