Fashion Week Highland Park Returns
The Downtown Highland Park Alliance proudly presents Fashion Week Highland Park from Saturday, September 21 to Saturday, September 28. Showcasing the luxurious and accessible items available in Downtown Highland Park, various stores and boutiques will offer trunk shows, talks from designers, special savings and promotions during this week long event.
Headlining the week long style and design event will be the third annual Highland Park Runway Show on Thursday, September 26 at The Art Center – Highland Park (1957 Sheridan Road). Along with showcasing the latest fall trends, this “Fashion and Beauty Night Out” will include complimentary beauty treatments from local spas and salons, drinks and hors d’oeuvres. Attendees will receive a complimentary gift bag along with a special savings guide to participating retailers.

“As the premier shopping destination on the North Shore, we are thrilled to be hosting numerous fashion related events for residents and surrounding community members,” said Jessica Weglarz, Executive Director of the Downtown Highland Park Alliance. “With great promotions and special happenings taking place, Fashion Week Highland Park is a great opportunity for North Shore residents to stroll throughout Downtown Highland Park and experience all of the wonderful, unique shopping experiences we have to offer.”

On Saturday, September 21 Fashion Week kicks-off with stylish in-store events that shoppers will not want to miss! Local retailers will be hosting trunk shows, designer talks, classes, refreshments and evening cocktail parties. On Tuesday, September 24, local salons and cosmetic stores will host events highlighting the latest styles in beauty. On Wednesday, September 25, learn about the newest home décor trends at participating home design and gift retailers. Following Thursday’s Fashion and Beauty Night Out, show attendees will get to “wear the runway” during the Fashion Walk event on Friday, September 27 and Saturday, September 28. Using the special savings guide, shoppers will be able to purchase the looks from the Runway Show.
