World Smile Day is upon us. Did you know that this day in celebration of smiles and acts of kindness was created by Harvey Ball, the man that invented the bright yellow smiley face we all know and love? In honor of World Smile Day and Mr. Ball, I thought about a few things that make me smile. Here are a some of my favorite grin inducing things.
The Smiley Bendable Man! Who could look at that iconic yellow grinning face and not smile themselves? Since you can bend him, he's easy to leave on a desk or pillow to send a smile to the ones you love.
Who here thinks pranks are funny? Me, too! The Whoopee Cushion is a classic retro trick beloved by everyone from your grandma to your little kid brother. And believe me, he'll be doing it over and over again. Guaranteed tons of laughs and smiles.

I love robots. What could be cooler than being a metallic, wind up toy? Sounding like one. The Voice Changer allows you to do just that, along with several other voice altering effects. Really fun on the phone with your best friend or the perfect compliment to a costume.
Imagine throwing a pink ball up in the air and -poof!- it magically comes back blue. Crazy, right? Not with Switch Pitch. This magic little sphere actually spins and changes color when you give it a little toss. I love hearing kids of all ages giggle in delight when they see how it works.

And last but not least is the Miracle Fortune Teller Fish. Yes, this little red fish has been around forever, but it never ceases to cause big cheesy grin from whomever picks it up. You put it in your hand and the heat from your body causes the fish to move in mysterious ways. The back of the package explains the moods that the movements correspond with, sometimes with hilarious results.
