What Is "Rotten in the State of Denmark"? A Message from Hamlet to All of Us

Hamlet’s delay in revenging the murder of his father has been, in a drama full of questions, considered for centuries and explained on the basis of everything from Tragic Flaw Theory to Freudian Psychology and acted accordingly. But it must have something to do with our own inner selves and conflicts and the ways we can experience the play. Rabbi Herbert Bronstein has been invited to speak at the Stratford Canada Shakespeare Festival, published in the Shakespeare Quarterly and lectured widely on Shakespeare’s plays, including a previous appearance in the Page to Stage series.
