 possibility! We  look forward to inspiring you\, your family\, and frien
 ds\, showing you  what a summer spent with The Road Less Traveled can me
 an! The world is  too amazing a place not to be explored and The Road Le
 ss Traveled can  take you there.\nThe Road Less Traveled is a teen summe
 r community service\, language and adventure travel program that offers 
  an opportunity for young people to engage in a service of presence and 
  active listening in the world. We encourage involvement and cultivate  
 leadership\, excellence\, openness and sensitivity\, initiative\, commun
 al  participation\, social activism and environmentalism.You  may build 
 a school or medical outpost in Costa Rica\, Panama\, Ecuador\,  Peru\, T
 anzania or Namibia\, work on environmental projects\, restore coral  ree
 f in the Florida Keys\, save monk seals in Hawaii\, work with wolves  in
  Colorado or volunteer in aiding disaster relief victims. We travel to  
 Norway\, crossing the entire country kayaking\, rafting\, biking and  hi
 king and offer formal language coursework in Costa Rica\, Ecuador or  Sp
 ain. We travel to the Himalayas\, kayak between the skyscrapers of  Chic
 ago\, restore rivers and work with local farmers in Michigan\, and  prov
 ide aid to those effected by Hurricane Katrina and the Gulf oil  spill. 
 We offer surfing\, rock climbing\, snorkeling\, windsurfing\,  kayaking\
 , whitewater rafting\, SCUBA PADI lessons and certifications\,  backpack
 ing\, ice and snow mountaineering. There are also specialized  programs 
 in leadership\, Wilderness First Responder Certification\, Family  and S
 pring Break programs and Global Perspectives travel for young  people gr
 ades 6 - 8. You will contribute\, learn and return home with a  life cha
