 wned craft shows in the nation\, the American Craft Exposition (ACE). Ma
 rk your calendars for this impressive juried exposition of handcrafted w
 orks of art which gives guests the opportunity to appreciate and purchas
 e the work of more than 160 master craftspeople from across the country.
  Funds raised at this year&rsquo\;s exposition will support pioneering r
 esearch being conducted at NorthShore that is already showing promising 
 results in preventing ovarian cancer in at-risk women. ACE will be held 
 from August 24 to 26 at the Henry Crown Sports Pavilion.\nThe American C
 raft Exposition is a nationally renowned exhibition and sale of fine cra
 ft where attendees can meet the artists behind the work. This show assem
 bles the country&rsquo\;s finest artists and more than a dozen emerging 
 artists showcasing new achievements in metal\, glass\, furniture\, jewel
 ry\, ceramics\, fiber decorative\, fiber wearable\, leather\, wood\, mix
 ed media and baskets. ACE is the only volunteer-produced Exposition of i
 ts caliber in the country with more than 100 volunteers working year-rou
 nd to present this amazing show.\nACE returns to the Henry Crown Sports 
 Pavilion on Northwestern University&rsquo\;s Evanston Campus\, and comme
 nces Thursday\, August 23 with a Collectors&rsquo\; Hour from 5:30 p.m. 
 to 6:30 p.m. followed by a Benefit Preview Party from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 
 p.m. The show runs throughout the weekend: Friday\, August 24\, from 10 
 a.m. to 8 p.m.\; Saturday\, August 25\, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.\; and Sun
 day\, August 26\, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $15 for a three-day
