Temple Jeremiah hosts a brunch supporting the 2013 Jewish United Fund-Israel Emergency Fund.
The event will feature Linda Gradstein discussing “Israel in the New Middle East: Challenges and Opportunities.” Gradstein is the Middle East Bureau Chief of The Media Line, an American news agency specializing in coverage of the Middle East. She also is a contributor to NPR. Gradstein has covered every major story in Israel for the past 20 years and maintains personal relationships with Israeli and Palestinian leaders. She has won several awards for her coverage.
The event is co-chaired by Colleen and Greg Moyer of Skokie; Michelle and Michael Myers, Northbrook; and Laurel and Edward Shapiro, Glencoe. Brunch is underwritten by Colleen and Greg Moyer.
The central address of Chicago’s Jewish community, the Jewish United Fund-Israel Emergency Fund mobilizes the resources that bring wide-ranging humanitarian services to 300,000 Chicagoans of all faiths and 2 million Jews in Israel and worldwide.

More About Temple Jeremiah
Temple Jeremiah is Northfield's Reform Judaism synagogue. Shabbat services are offered on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings. The congregation is led by Rabbi Paul Cohen. Temple Jeremiah is also a member of the Winnetka Interfaith Council.
