Off Campus Writers' Workshop will present Landscape Historian Barbara Geiger on Thursday, November 29. Barbara will provide two different lectures. She will speak to us about Downton Abbey, landscape designers, land ownership patterns, and inheritance laws that produced great estates like Downton, and why radical changes were inevitable. Barbara will make her beautiful book (Low-Key Genius: The Life and Work of Landscape-Gardener O.C. Simonds) available to OCWW members at a significant discount—a perfect holiday gift for the gardener or history buff on your list. 

OCWW Workshops meet each Thursday morning, 9:30 - Noon, from September through May.  All sessions are open to the public. $15 per session. OCWW members ($30 per year) receive session discounts and may have manuscripts critiqued.
