When children in Germany set off for their first day of school their families present them with a Schultute - a colorful cone that they fill with sweets, school supplies and small gifts. This gift-giving tradition is a great way to commemorate the beginning of a child's school experience. We at leoleno would like to share this tradition with you and your child. In the workshop we will learn how children in different countries celebrate the first day of school and each child will get the chance to decorate and take home his/her very own little Schultute...otherwise known as the Kinder-Cone ($10 for material costs). Please RSVP for this Workshop.
