Fields Auto Group Expands Facebook “Recommend-A-Charity” Campaign

Fields Auto Group (www.fieldsauto.com) is rolling out the second iteration of their “Recommend A Charity” Promotion on Facebook and pledging $5000 in donations! Fields Auto originally intended to donate $1000 to a deserving charity in July based on recommendations posted on Facebook. The response was so strong that the auto group, with locations in IL, FL, WI, NC and British Columbia, doubled their commitment and not only sent $1000 to The U.S. Children’s Medical Assistance Fund, but also $200 checks to Dravet Syndrome Foundation, International Myeloma Foundation American Diabetes Association (Friends for the Cure), National Multiple Sclerosis Society and Hospice Alliance, Inc.
Fields is now pledging $5000 to be donated to deserving charities. By simply “liking” the Facebook page of a Fields dealership, participants are directed to a form which asks for a brief description of why the charity they want to “recommend” should receive a donation.
