Winnetka and Glencoe residents are invited to join The Grand Food Center this Saturday and Sunday for its annual, Thanksgiving "tasting" events planned at its Winnetka and Glencoe stores, respectively.
Dozens of select vendors will be on hand to provide free samples to shoppers from 11 am to 3 pm.
On Saturday, the Winnetka store will host a special visit from "Skates," the Chicago Wolves mascot, from 11:30 am-1 pm. He'll meet all the kids and pose for photographs.
Event Details
Skates will be at a Winnetka grocery store this Saturday to encourage Grand Food Center shoppers to help Northwestern University students to gather food donations for its student-run food pantry, Campus Kitchen.
