In honor of the Glencoe Park District’s 100th Anniversary, this year’s July 4th Celebration will be extra special! Get together with your family, friends, and neighbors and take part in a full day of activities on Wednesday, July 4.
July 4th Schedule of Events:
8 a.m. 2-Mile Rotary Fun Run - starts at train station
10 a.m. Art Fair on Village Green
10 a.m. Preschool & Family Games - Kalk Park
12 p.m. Chamber of Commerce Children’s Carnival
2 p.m. July 4th Village Parade
6 p.m. Park and Ride from Village parking lot and train station
6:30 p.m. Barbecue available at the beach
6:30 p.m. Children’s Entertainer - Magician Jeff Bibik
7 p.m. Musical Entertainment - 28 Days
8:45 p.m. Beach entrance closed
9 p.m. Fireworks on the beach - Launched off-shore (Rain date: July 5)
