What Should the New NTHS Principal be Like?
New Trier's Winnetka Campus Principal, Tim Dohrer, is resigning at the end of June. What would you like to see in the next principal?
Timothy Dohrer, New Trier High School's Winnetka Campus Principal, is resigning in June after 23 years at the school. Dohrer has accepted a position as the Director of Teacher Education at Northwestern University's School of Education and Social Policy, and will oversee all teacher certification programs at the university. He will also direct the Master of Science in Education program.
“No matter where I go, I will always be a Trevian at heart,” Dohrer said in a statement. “New Trier has been my home for almost my entire career in education, and I appreciate the opportunities the school has given me to grow as an educator and a leader. The faculty and staff at New Trier are truly amazing, and I will carry the lessons they have taught me as I work with teachers just starting out in the classroom.”
