Weekend Planner: Take 2,109 Steps to SkyRise Chicago
Wondering what to do this weekend? We've got a tall idea.
Those of you looking for a thrill (and a workout) this Sunday, hop a Metra downtown and consider the world's tallest indoor stair climb.
The event, SkyRise Chicago, at the Willis Tower benefits the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (RIC), which offers physical medicine and rehabilitation support for patients.

Organizers estimate that about 2,500 people will participate, including Ronnie Brewer of the Chicago Bulls.
After moving 103 floors up, or 2,109 steps, participants will land on Skydeck Chicago. Once all the way to the top, one can take a peek at the panoramic views of the city from The Ledge, known for its glass floors.
The climbers begin their ascent on Sunday at 7 a.m.
