With cake, balloons and flags donning the stars and stripes, the Veterans Day Celebration was Winnetka's patriotic tribute to veterans on Friday.
Hadley School for the Blind, Village of Winnetka, Winnetka Park District, Winnetka Club, New Trier VFW Post 4831 and Winnetka Historical Society collaborated on the annual event this year.
