Northfield Police Blotter: Trespass, Fraud and Drunk Driving
The following arrest information was supplied by the Northfield Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Trespass: Someone moved a mattress and smoked a pipe and cigar in a home for sale in the 600 block of North Happ Road. One of the owners' relatives checks on the house periodically and discovered the incident, but he said there didn't appear to be any damage to the home itself. The case is under investigation.
Driving under the influence: A 45-year Milwaukee man was stopped when he made an illegal U-turn at I-94 and Willow Road. When police approached his vehicle, they discovered he was not only allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol, but his license had also been suspended. He was released on a $3,000 recognizance bond and given a court date of April 5.
Fraud: A Northfield man living in the 3000 block of Arbor Lane told police that an unknown offender bought $247 worth of products at Nordstrom on his account. The fraudulent activity occurred on Feb. 2, and the case is still under investigation.
