LAST WEEK: Northfield Police Blotter: Theft, Misuse of Handicap Placard

Consumption of alcohol by minor: Just after midnight on Dec. 19, an 18-year-old Winnetka man said he felt sick and asked the chartered bus he was riding to stop in the 1600 block of Willow Road. A police officer was dispatched to check on the stopped bus, and he noticed that the man had been drinking. The man left the scene before he could be arrested, but turned himself in at the Northfield Police Department. He was released on a $1,500 i-bond and given a court date of Feb. 21.
