Lincolnwood Man Arrested in Connection with Winnetka Theft

From theft and traffic arrests, here are the latest reports from Winnetka Police Department.

Warrant Arrest

Brandon P. Carver, 25, of 7238 N. Tripp St., Lincolnwood, was arrested by Lincolnwood police on a theft warrant out of Winnetka Police Department at 6900 N. Lincoln Ave. on Oct. 31. Carver was turned over to Winnetka police for processing. He was also charged with possession of a controlled substance, a charge that stems from the original theft investigation, police said. Carver was issued a November 1 court date. 

Theft

A driver’s license and debit card were stolen from an unattended wallet left under a chair at 620 Lincoln Avenue between 2:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 30, police said. The loss is estimated at $10. 

Traffic Arrest

Terrell D. Dozie, 20, of 9108 Emerson, Des Plaines, was arrested for driving without a valid driver’s license following a traffic stop in the 300 block of Hibbard Road on Oct. 29. He was also cited for speeding, and not having proof of insurance and issued a November 13 court date. 

Silveria C. Steele, 43, of 1401 Brummel, Evanston, was arrested for driving with a suspended driver’s license following a traffic stop at Green Bay Road and Oak Street on November 3. Steele was also cited for use of a hand held phone while driving and issued a November 30 court date.
