Readers with green thumbs, take note: Chicago Botanic Garden's "Eco-friendly Lawn & Landscape Summit" takes place this weekend.

With one day for professionals and one day for amateurs, the summit will tackle issues concerning eco-friendly lawn and landscape care. The recent heat wave has plenty of people questioning the impact for their verdant gardens and lawnscapes.

Organizers say now's the time to grab your tickets: $75 for the first day and $40 for the second day.
