Last Chance: Sports Injury Panel Tonight

Find out how to protect your student athletes on Tuesday evening. Panelists include a team physician for the Chicago Bears, a director from Bulls/Sox Training Academy and the chairman of the Department of Neurosurgery at NorthShore University HealthSystem

Monday's news of football star Alex Karras's suit against the NFL was just another reminder of the need for greater athlete protection.

So, students, athletes and parents, consider coming out for Tuesday night's "Protecting Student Athletes: Concussions, ACL Tears, Overuse Injuries and More."

The free panel starts at 7 p.m. in the Misner Auditorium at Central School, 620 Greenwood Ave. in Glencoe.

Sponsors include Family Awareness Network (FAN), Glencoe District 35 and NorthShore University HealthSystem.
