Looking for a family-friendly activity to start your weekend off?  Then take a trip to Hubbard Woods Park in Winnetka to see Zookeeper, or Puss in Boots at Glencoe's Wyman Green. 

Winnetka-Zookeeper

The Winnketka Park district sponsors their Movies in the Park along with BMO Harris Bank, and residents are invited to bring a blanket or lawn chair to Hubbard Woods Park and make a picnic out of it.  

Concessions will be available, and provided by Grand Food Centers.  

Live entertainment will begin prior to the movie at 7 p.m. and provided by Animal Quest and the movie begins at dusk.

The rain date for Zookeeper is July 15.

Glencoe-Puss in Boots

Sit back with the traditional popcorn and snacks (available for purchase) and take in Puss in Boots at Wyman Green in Glencoe. 

Residents are invited to bring a blanket or low back chair and enjoy the movie, set also to begin at dusk. 

In case of rain, the movie will be brought indoors to Village Hall in the third floor village council chambers. 

The Movies on Green are sponsored by the Glencoe Chamber of Commerce, Glencoe Park District, Glencoe Public Library, Glencoe Youth Services, and the Village of Glencoe. 

All proceeds benefit Glencoe Youth Services.
