Glencoe Home Joins $4 Million-Plus Club
The home was sold by the estate of the late Florence Boone who was president of the Village of Glencoe from 1976 to 1985.

A home on Longwood Road in Glencoe recently sold for $4.5 million, joining its neighbor at 521 Longwood Road in the $4 million-plus club, according to ChicagoMag.com.
The estate of Florence Boone sold the homes; both sit on the bluff above Lake Michigan and have access to private beach. The 1.10-acre home at 521 Longwood Rd. sold for $4.7 million in August, while the other sold for $4.5 million in early October, according to ChicagoMag.com
Boone, president of the Village of Glencoe from 1976 to 1985, passed away at 93 years old in April, according to Donnellan Family Funeral Services.
There are currently five properties listed above $4 million in Glencoe, according to RealEstateAOL.com
