Jesus, segregation has nothing to do with the issue of ilegal immigration. There are many millions of people in the United States who came here from other countries looking for a better life. They played by the rules, did everything they were supposed to do and many became citizens. The rest are here with green cards but have gotten them the right way. Someone should tell "Newt" that the federal govt who issues visas to students and workers to come here could be tracked by issuing them a speciall social security number that could be tracked by the IRS and there would be no need for additional laws, or employees to run it. After a long day of work (at a corporate environment) I stopped by the nearest restaurant to pick up some food. Honestly after working 10hrs I have no energy to cook.
Guess who's working hard in the back of the restaurant so I can have a nice hot meal?? Undocumented immigrants.
I spoke to one of them because this whole thing has been on my mind all day and I asked him how many hours does he work? He said: 14hrs/6 days a week. I asked him how much does he get paid and he replied: $8 per hr.
Now my point is, when anyone of you is ready to do this kind of job, for this kind of money; then you can say that these people don't belong here. I would certainly NOT work 14hrs a day for $8 an hr.
The government needs to work on a reform to have them here legally and paying taxes like the rest of us do, cause that's the bottom line. Everyone is complaining that our tax money is supporting undocumented immigrants, so then why not make a reform for the ones that have been here for years without committing any crime. America was not made to choose who stays and who goes. Seriously, why cant everyone just let others be free and happy with what they have. Immigrants who have no criminal record aren't the ones screwing america. Criminals are screwing America. Newt Gingrich should really consider on leaving them alone. Immigrants who do nothing wrong shouldn't be kicked out of a place they like living. Probably 95% of what the government does could be eliminated and 90% of whats left could be done by one computer part time. Lets be honest here.
