Why Go: Come see some of Winnetka's brightest young stars on stage in "Star Struck," an hour-long comedy-musical.

2. Glencoe Junior High Project Presents "Footloose"
Where/When: Misner Auditorium at Glencoe Central School // Thurs.-Fri. at 7 p.m. and Sat.-Sun. at 2 p.m.

3. Make-N-Take Preschool Crafts
Where/When: Winnetka Public Library // 3:30 p.m. Satuday
Why Go: Take your tyke to the Winnetka Public Library for an afternoon of arts and crafts.

4. Art Opening at Zia Gallery
Where/When: Zia Gallery // 5 p.m. Friday
Why Go: Check out the newest works at Zia Gallery -- photographs, paintings and other works made from medical diagnostic film from three artists. The show runs through March 19.

5. Middle School Paddle Madness
Where/When: Platform Tennis Facility // 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday
Why Go: Middle-schoolers are invited to play paddle tennis and eat pizza after. Price: $25 and registration is available online.
Where/When: Hubbard Woods Park // 1-2:15 p.m. Saturday
Why Go: Celebrate winter with the Winnetka Park District at Hubbard Woods Park. There will be activities and refreshments.
