Changes Afoot at Winnetka-Glencoe Patch
With thanks and well-wishes, I am signing off as your editor today.
Times they are a-changin' in the world of Winnetka-Glencoe Patch.
Today, May 24, marks my final day with Patch. I'm headed to the Chicago bureau of The Wall Street Journal, so I'm not too far away!
It's been a remarkable year, and I'm grateful for the warmth and welcome you have offered me.
Tracking domestic violence in the North Shore or following new cheerleader moves at New Trier; covering public school controversy or reporting on last summer's flood; recording the affordable housing legislation or highlighting the personalities from our community - it's all been a ride, and I thank you.
Winnetka, Glencoe and Northfield are full of intelligent and passionate people, and I feel privileged to have discovered that myself. All the best to you and to the future of your community.
From here on out, you can count on Emily Stone for all your Patch-related questions and comments at emily.stone@patch.com.
