On your mark, get set, let’s go! The annual Winnetka Park District Firecracker 5K and 1 12 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk is presented by North Shore Community Bank and Trust and will take off from Village Green (Maple & Elm) on Saturday, June 30 at 8 am. Runners may register at the Winnetka Park District office (540 Hibbard Rd.) by June 27 for $20.  Day of registration is $25.  Awards will be given for overall male and female winners and individual age group winners.  The fun run/walk is a free event with no pre-registration required.  The run/walk will take off at 8:15 am.  Community partners for this event are: Winnetka Parks Foundation, Athletico Physical Therapy, Fitness Together, Illinois Bone & Joint Institute, LLC., Winnetka Talk and Whole Foods Market Northbrook.  For more information contact the Winnetka Park District at 847-501-2040.
