North Shore Senior Center staff member Nan Hohf recently received an Excellence Award from the Illinois Department on Aging and the Illinois Council of Case Coordination Units in recognition of her exceptional case management skills and improving the quality and dignity of life and promoting independence for seniors in Illinois. She also received a Certificate of Service for her 20 years of dedicated service to the aging population in Illinois. In addition to Nan's regular case management and elder abuse work, she facilitates groups for the recently bereaved and for caregivers of those with Parkinson's disease. A member of our staff since 1998, Nan first came to North Shore Senior Center in 1980 as a volunteer in the Social Services Department.
